As I visited large military hospitals in Beijing and Shanghai, I met a General of the Chinese Army who said that army tanks often get stuck in the mud with dead batteries. As we ask military personnel the question: "At what capacity do you replace the battery?" few can answer. Not knowing the capacity of a vehicle battery an ongoing problem that we’ll solve with the Spectro CM-48.

Before a mission, a vehicle battery should be tested for Minimum Operational Reserve Energy (MORE). To facilitate this test, we offer model-specific matrices that are stored in the Matrix Library for field-downloading into the Spectro Modular.

Spectro Modular

Spectro departs from the traditional load test by modelling a battery against a matrix similar to a camera offering face recognition. The non-invasive test estimates capacity and detects anomalies in lead acid and Li-ion batteries to assure safety. Test accuracy is based on the Matrix Integrity Level (MIL) that we achieve by scanning a broad range of model-specific batteries, from good to bad. This involves intercepting batteries for scanning in our battery labs at Headquarters and at Cadex Europe (CE). We’ll also send the Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) for automated field scanning.

Business Development (BD)

Customizing Cadex products involves adding the BD department, a new entity at Cadex that’s responsible to finish the last mile. BD will also be responsible to maintain and enlarge the Matrix Library. Besides armored vehicles, we also service batteries in trucks, buses and wheeled mobility, as well as heavy machinery with battery size up to 48V and 300Ah. As the battery adapters provide the last mile for Cadex chargers and battery analyzers, matrices from mirrors to test a broad range of batteries by examining the electrochemical evidence.

Landing Pages

Our Cadex Website will also soon offer Landing Pages to be found by Google. Once located, we provide entry doors into the house that lead to the fridge in the kitchen with full of food.

The illustrated battery in the graph below must have at least 30% to enable cranking the motor. With MORE known, methods are available to make the available hotel load energy visible. Of important is tracking capacity fade that reduces the capacity the battery can hold. Our goal is to fully utilize each battery but replace before failure. MORE will become central to reach home base at the end of day.
